How it works

    Complete the client authorization, then download FKS Remote Support and run it on the computer that needs assistance.

    Share your computer name with our technician

    Please provide the exact computer name of the device requiring support when you contact us. This allows our team to identify your machine quickly and establish a secure remote session without delay.

    Windows

    1. 1.Open the Start menu and select Settings.
    2. 2.Navigate to System, then select About.
    3. 3.Under Device specifications, locate Device name.
    4. 4.Copy or note the name exactly as shown and provide it to our technician by phone or email.

    Mac

    1. 1.Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
    2. 2.Select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
    3. 3.Open General, then select About.
    4. 4.Locate the Name field — this is your computer name. Provide it to our technician by phone or email.

Remote Support Client Authorization

Before downloading FKS Remote Support or allowing a remote connection, please complete this authorization. It confirms your consent and outlines how we protect your confidentiality during support sessions.

Your confidentiality & protection

  • FKS Computers will only access systems, applications, and data reasonably required to investigate and resolve your support request.
  • Information disclosed during a remote session will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.
  • You retain ownership of your data. We do not claim any rights over your files, credentials, or business information.
  • Our technicians will not ask for passwords. You should never share banking PINs, one-time codes, or other highly sensitive authentication details.
  • You may end the remote session at any time. Please notify us when support is complete.
Authorization *

This authorization applies to the current remote support request. If you have a signed SLA or service agreement with FKS Computers, those terms continue to apply. For a formal NDA or custom legal documentation, please contact us before your session.

  • Keep FKS Remote Support running on your computer. When our technician connects, their session will be listed in the application — no approval or additional action is required.
  • Close sensitive documents or applications if you are not comfortable sharing your screen.
  • Never share passwords — our technicians will never ask for them.
  • End the session when support is complete.
